PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely board an escalator by providing a car body, front wheel, rear wheel, drive means and a support part, in the case of tilting the car body in at least an escalator maximum tilt part, grounding the support part to a step surface of the escalator. SOLUTION: In a lower surface of a car body 1, a first/second support part 6, 7, grounded on a step surface of an escalator in the case of boarding it, is provided. The first support part 6 supports a front part of the car body 1. A first ground surface 8 grounded to the step surface in the case of boarding the up-escalator, and a second ground surface 9 grounded to the step surface in the case of boarding the down-escalator, are provided. The second support part 7, supportting a rear part of the car body l, is provided with a first ground surface 10 grounded to the step surface in the case of boarding the up-escalator and a second ground surface 11 grounded to the step surface in the case of boarding the down-escalator. In this way, boarding can be made in a stable condition on the step surface of the escalator. |
