<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the on-vehicle pressurized fuel tank which can fill fuel such as natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas while it is being pressurized, and is light in weight, and high in pressure resistance. SOLUTION: A doughnut shaped pressurized fuel tank 10 is formed out of two half split bodies 11 made out of steel sheets each cross section of which is formed into a semi-circular ring shaped curved surface, each half split body 11 is made by pressing a thin disc sheet, a brim shaped outer circumferential joining part 13 is furthermore formed at the outer circumferential part of the ring shaped recessed part 12 of each half split body 11, concurrently a lens shaped recessed part 14 in a circular arc shape in cross section is formed at the center part of each half split body 11, and furthermore, a radial direction recessed part 15 rough in a semi-circle in cross section, which is communicated with the ring shaped recessed part 12 and the lens shaped recessed part 14 of each half split body, is also formed. And it is so constituted that, in a state that let the two half split bodies 11, the outer circumferential joining parts 13 and center joining parts relatively abut against each other, and these abutted portions are thereby spot welded at requred spots so as to be formed into the doughnut shaped pressurized fuel tank 10.</p> |
