PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for insert-molding a metal member by which it is possible to easily insert a metal member of a complicated shape, simplify a manufacturing step, manufacture the metal member at a low cost, automate a manufacturing process and make the metal member water proof and dust tight. SOLUTION: An electric terminal to be sealed is split into electric terminals 3, 6, 5, 4 so that the surface exposed part is divided, and these split electric terminals 3, 6, 5, 4 are inserted into a semimolding 2 to hold part of each of the electric terminals 3, 6, 5, 4 in a mutually contact state, and further, form a secondary plastic molded part 7 at the part with which the electric terminals 3, 6, 5, 4 come into contact to seal this part. Thus the plural electric terminals whose surfaces are exposed are sealed by integrally forming the part with which the electric terminals 3, 6, 5, 4 come into contact with the semimolding 2. |
