PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an image receiving sheet which is capable of whitening a rear side, making it look more attractive and writing thereon at a low cost without increasing thickness thereof. SOLUTION: A coextruded film 35 of three layers composed of a white PE layer 36, a black PE layer 37 and a white PE layer 38 is stuck on one surface of a resin coating paper 31 with the white PE layer 36 as a joint surface. An image receiving layer 40 is formed on another surface of the resin coating paper 31. The coextruded film 35 is formed by an inflation method so that the white PE layers 36, 38 have 10 to 30μm thickness and 30 to 70wt.% titanium oxide content and the black PE layer 37 has 10 to 40μm thickness and 10 to 35wt.% carbon content. Since the film is formed by the inflation method, film cracking does not occur even if dye content is increased and thereby respective layers 36, 37, 38 can be made thinner.
