PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the same ticket issued again when a ticket is issued again against occurrence of a fault, etc., and to permit the issue of a ticket that can be issued again via a ticket issuing device itself after its power supply is cut. SOLUTION: In this ticket issuing method, a ticket having the information on the previously issued ticket is fetched through a ticket slit 17 as long as the ticket issue information received from a host device is coincident with the information of the previously issued ticket stored in a previous information memory M1 of a passenger ticket issuing device 10. The information on the fetched ticket is invalidated and a new ticket is issued. Then the device 10 decides the propriety of reissue of a ticket by itself based on the information stored in a current information memory M0 after the power supply of the device 10 is cut in a ticket issue mode, and the device 10 issues a new ticket. |
