PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a fuel injection pipe while suppressing pressure loss of a fuel passage by mounting a common rail on the side wall of a cam frame for housing the valve system of each cylinder and an injector, and connecting the fuel injection pipe per cylinder on the fuel feed-out part of a common rail. SOLUTION: A common rail 52 is fixed 5 to the side wall 32a of the intake manifold 46 side of a cam frame 32 of a frame type mounted on a cylinder head 20 by a bolt, and an accumulator chamber 54 is arranged in the common rail 52. A plurality of fuel feed-out parts 46 corresponding to each cylinder of an engine 10 are protuberantly arranged on an installing surface which abuts on the cam frame side wall 38a of the common rail 52, and each fuel feed-out part 56 is communicated with the accumulator chamber 54. A feed passage extending from a supply pump is connected to the common rail 52, and also a pressure sensor for detecting fuel pressure in the accumulator chamber 54 is arranged, and each fuel feed-out part 56 is connected to the fuel inlet part 60 of the injector 30 per cylinder by a fuel injection pipe 58. |
