PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sound of a specific part inputted from the outside from being controlled on the basis of control information of an effect included in performance data when a minus-one-performance of the specific part is played on the basis of the performance data which is formed without any consideration for the minus-one-performance. SOLUTION: It is judged whether an effect parameter assigned by an exclusive message of a MIDI(music instrument digital interface) is a parameter assigning an effect circuit allocated to a microphone input or not (that is '3' or not is determined) (a step SJ2). If it is judged that the assigned effect parameter assigns the effect circuit, it is determined whether the effect circuit is locked or not (a step SJ4). In this case, the effect circuit ignores an effect setting instruction based on the message, as locking is carried out under a condition ADL = 1. In this way, setting of the effect circuit allocated to the microphone input is prevented from being forcibly changed by meats of a MIDI input. |
