PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the alignment of a black stripe and a domain in the production of a liquid crystal panel with a black stripe. SOLUTION: The belt-like domains 9a and 9b whose bright field directions are reverse are alternately provided to be inclined at the angle of 30 to 60 deg. to the black stripe by an orientation dividing method. The matrix-state black stripe 7 is formed inside a transparent substrate. The domain 9b in which dark field is set in the same direction as that of the domain 9a in which bright field is set in a downward direction is arranged in an average state in a pixel 8 surrounded by the black stripe, so that both side parts of the black stripe are prevented from getting the dark field even in the case of being viewed from any direction. Therefore, the alignment of the black stripe and the domain in the case of forming the domain is facilitated. |
