The invention concerns a connection system for electrical conductors, in particular insulated cables (211) to be connected to electrical equipment, in particular components of an electric propulsion unit for vehicles. The connection system is designed to form at least one pin-and-socket connector comprising two plug-in multi-line contact elements (202, 209). One contact element is designed as a pin (202) while the other is designed as a sleeve (209).The sleeve (209) has tongues (209') which extend in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve and flex in the radial direction. Each of these tongues has at least one part (60) which extends in the longitudinal direction of the tongue and projects radially inwards to make contact with a line.
