The invention discloses a method for producing an industrial aqueous sodium chloride solution comprising the following steps: in a first step, fumes containing hydrogen chloride and lead (2) is treated by a dry process with sodium bicarbonate (14) to form a solid residue (8) containing sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and lead, in a second step (6), this solid residue is separated from the fumes and introduced in an aqueous medium, in a third step (9), the aqueous medium is filtered (13) and an aqueous sodium chloride solution (15) is obtained, and in a fourth step (17), this aqueous solution is treated with at least one soluble lead precipitating agent (16), then the resulting precipitate is separated from it (20). |
