PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image quality from being deteriorated by the developer charged in reverse polarity on a photoreceptor, in an image forming device of an electrophotographic system for such as a laser beam printer. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a developing roller 56 for forming the image on a photosensition drum 20 by developing an electrostatic latent image by toner charged in a specified polarity in the operating state and for recovering the toner uniformized on the photosensitive drum 20 in the non-operating state, a cleaning roller 42 for attracting the residual toner on the photosensitive drum 20 after transferring through potential difference between the photosensitive drum 20 in a attracting mode and for discharging while uniformizing it on the photosensitive drum 20 in the discharging mode, and a controller 105 for switching the cleaning roller 42 into the attracting mode at least one round portion of the cleaning roller 42 before an expected section for forming the image on the photosensitive drum 20 comes on the uniformizing position. |
