PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve picture quality by memorizing characteristics such as thickness of paper, surface property, electrical resistance, color of texture, etc., per type of paper and changing picture image formation condition in accordance with paper used. SOLUTION: CPU 20 in a control substrate refers to a data table written in ROM in advance in accordance with type of selected paper. Developing solution film thickness on a photosensitive body which is the optimum for the selected paper or a condition which realizes the film thickness is written in the data table to operate a machine in accordance with the condition. In addition, items such as proper toner adhesion amount (photosensitive body potential, developing bias), SR bias value, transfer current value, etc., which require changes depending on type of paper are written in the data table. |
