PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply three-dimensional(3D) motion to a synthesized image. SOLUTION: Based on feature point data from a face feature point extracting part 3, a wire frame deforming part 5 deforms wire frame data 1. A head contour line extracting part 4 extracts the contour line of the head corresponding to a 2D image 2. An expression/direction setting part 7 designates the rotating direction of face image to be displayed. An image synthesizing part 6 rotates the polygon of the face image based on the deformed wire frame data corresponding to the designated rotating direction of the face image, generates a boundary polygon based on the contour points of the head between the polygon of the face image and a background polygon and synthesizes the face image by making this boundary polygon correspondent to the rotating direction. |
