PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device by loading a magnetic head, with which the magnetic storage area of a card is accessed, onto the optical head to unnecessitate the space of a card conveyer line on the upstream side of an optical head and shortening the card conveyer line. SOLUTION: A magnetic head 32 for performing recording/reproducing by accessing the magnetic storage area of the card is loaded onto an optical head 29, and a contact holder 31 is loaded on a card conveyer table 24. In this case, it is not necessary to secure the space of the card conveyer line on the upstream side of the optical head 29. Besides, since the contact holder 31 is arranged at the terminal of the card conveyer line, it is not necessary to provide any space and the distance of the card conveyer line is shortened for that space. Thus, a device 20 is miniaturized. Further, since the simultaneous access to an IC storage area and an optical storage area is performed as well, the time required for the recording/reproducing processing of information for the respective information storage areas formed on the card is remarkably shortened. |
