PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode for a battery which is increased in impregnation with an active material containing agent in a base material. SOLUTION: A base material 1 formed of a porous body is coated with a coating member 4, the base material 1 holds its inside at a negative pressure. Thereafter, a periphery of the base material 1 is surrounded by an active material containing agent 3. In a surrounded condition, the coating member 4 is removed from the base material 1. In this way, the active material containing agent 3 is brought into contact with the base material 1. Based on a difference between the negative pressure in the inside of the base material 1 and a pressure acting on the active material containing agent 3, pores of the base material 1 are impregnated with the active material containing agent 3. |
