发明名称 NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve charge/discharge capacity, cycle characteristics, and rate characteristics by using compound oxide expressed by LiCrTiO4 for a positive or a negative electrode active material in an aqueous electrolyte lithium secondary battery. SOLUTION: When LiCrTiO4 having a cubic crystal structure of spinel structure is used for a positive electrode active material, lithium, lithium alloy, or a lithium emmision/storage material such as carbon is used for the negative electrode. When LiCrTiO4 is the negative electrode active material, it is preferable to be constituted of the lithium emission/storage material expressed by a formula I or II. It is preferable that a substance formed by melting lithium salt in a mixture of polar solvent such as alkylene carbonate and low-viscosity polar solvent as a dilution is used for the electrolyte. [In the formula I, M<1> is selected from Ni, Co, and Mn, M<2> is a bivalent or a tervalent metal element, and 0<=x<=1. In the formula II, M is a bivalent or a tervalent metal element except for Mn, and 0<=x<=1].
