PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high outputs stably and reduce noises by using a material with a predetermined activation energy in a lower magnetic shield layer. SOLUTION: A composite magnetic film is formed 2μm, thereby to obtain a lower shield layer 10. A lower gap 20 is formed, on which a spin valve part 100 is formed. The spin valve part 100 is thermally annealed in a heightwise direction of an element, so that the spin valve part 100 is exchange-coupled. Thereafter, a magnetic domain control film 60 and an electrode 70 are formed to obtain an upper gap 30. A composite magnetic film 90 is formed and, a recording gap 40, an inductive coil 120, an interlayer insulating film 130, an upper write core 110, a protecting film 50 and terminals are formed. A head is obtained in this manner. A material of 1.8eV or smaller activation energy of a magnetic anisotropic change is applied to a part of the lower shield layer 10. |
