摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor which can reduce the number of terminals. SOLUTION: The acceleration sensor 1 is constituted of a detecting section 3, a judging section 4 and a diagnosing part 5. The detecting section 3 detects acceleration as physical quantity and outputs a signal corresponding to the acceleration detected. The judging section 4 judges whether a specified acceleration is detected or not based on the signal from the detecting section 3 to alter the amount of a current flowing through a power source terminal P1 to be supplied with a drive power from a microcomputer 2 based on the results of the judgment. The diagnosing section 5 diagnoses the trouble of the detecting section 3 based on the signal from the detecting section 3 to alter the amount of the current flowing through the power source terminal P1 based on the results of the diagnosis. The microcomputer 2 inputs the results of the judgment by the judging section 4 and the results of the diagnosis by the diagnosing section 5 based on the voltage of the drive power source varying with the amount of the current flowing through the power source terminal P1.</p>
