PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color sensitized system photocell in which redox layers with high adhesion strength are uniformly formed even in the insides of fine pores of a porous compound semiconductor layer. SOLUTION: A sol solution produced by mixing 15-30 moles of a solvent, 0.01-0.05 moles of H<+> , and 1-5 moles of water to 1 mole of a metal alkoxide is mixed with an electrolytic substance and redox substances, after 10 hours from the mixing, the resultant sol solution is applied a spin coating method to a substrate on which a porous TiO2 layer is formed, the coated substrate is kept in dry atmosphere at the room temperature to promote the gelling reaction, and the spin coating process and the gelling reaction are repeated until the produced thin film obtains the necessary thickness. As the redox substances, I<3-> /I<-> , Fe<3+> /Fe<2+> , Sn<2+> /Sn<4+> ,/ Cu<+> /Cu<2+> , Hg<+> /Hg<2+> , V<2+> /V<3+> , Cr<2+> /Cr<3+> , Pb<2+> /Pb<4+> , etc., are used. |
