摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to produce a lightweight and tough liquid crystal display device and to make the image quality of the liquid crystal display device better. SOLUTION: Respective wirings of transistors 31, transparent electrodes 24, gate lines 26 and data lines 27 are formed on a process substrate 15, by which active electrode parts 34 are manufactured. A transparent resin 30 of a thermosetting type as a transparent substrate is formed thereon. The entire part is thereafter immersed into an aq. potassium hydroxide soln. to dissolve a polysilicon film 16 formed between the process substrate 15 and the active electrode parts 34. The active electrode parts 34 are peeled from the process substrate 15. As a result, the transparent substrate is not used during the manufacture of the active electrode parts 34 and, therefore, the use of plastic, etc., having no heat resistance for the transparent substrate is possible. The lightweight and tough liquid crystal display device is thus produced. Since the surfaces of the active electrode parts 34 in contact with the liquid crystals may be flattened, the image quality of the liquid crystal display device is additionally improved.</p>
