PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the knowing of a freshness correctly even in a food whose initial freshness is not clear and permit the correct control of the freshness, in a refrigerator. SOLUTION: The freshness is estimated and indicated by a freshness of food estimating means 10, estimating the initial freshness of the food from an infrared rays freshness sensor 4, detecting reflected beams by projecting infrared rays having a specified wave length against a food, specified by a food specifying means 3, an initial freshness of food deciding means 7, deciding the initial freshness, the change of inside temperature of a refrigerator, a time of elapse after inserting the food into the refrigerator, and the inside temperature of the refrigerator as an initial value, whereby the freshness can be controlled correctly even in a food, whose initial freshness is not clear. |
