PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily correct the distortion of the image of writing information by writer's personal difference or writing state by storing the inclining angle and direction of a pen holder synchronously with the detection of handwriting. SOLUTION: A pen holder holding plate 2 for supporting a pen holder 1 has a cavity 3 having the convexly curved shape of an upper surface of a light permeable disc state therein and filled with viscous fluid 4 therein in that an opaque spherical marker 5 having smaller specific gravity than that of the fluid is floated therein. If the holder 1 is perpendicular to a writing surface 20, the marker 5 is brought into adjacent contact with the holder 1. The marker 5 is disposed in close contact with the holder 1 at the center of the imaged surface of the state such as a CCD element. At the surface when the holder 1 is inclined rightward obliquely at an angleθ, the marker 5 is moved in proportion to the angleθleftward. Thus, according to the storage pen, all the changes during writing of the writer's pen holder angle at the time of inputting the handwriting are detected in a time series manner, stored corresponding to the handwriting information, and the distortion of the fetched image can be accurately corrected.
