DEVICE FOR TURN-OFF THREADED CAP VESSEL CLOSING

The device can find application in the chemical, pharmaceutical and the food industries. It consists of a housing (1), horizontal plate supporting a conveyor (2) of clamping devices (3) mounted on both its sides, vertical plate with a bin for caps (5) in which a magnetic disc (23), elastic pushers (27 & 28), orientation devices (29) and an ejection star (30) are built-in and mounted. The device has a facility for steam supply (6) and a cooling device (10). The caps are fed by means of a cap-feeding head (7) and a levelling device (8) which positions the cap by means of a feeder (32). A vessel with steam fed to it and having a cap positioned at its neck is moved by guiding belts (14) at specified speed under the first pair of closing discs (38, 40) covered by elastic sheathing (41). The initial closing is effected by the simultaneous action of a clamp (45) and the elastic sheathings (41) pressing the cap surface. There follows final closing effected by the second pair of closing discs (38, 40) the vessels being simultaheously cooled by a cooling device (10).
