Composite material for toe protection within safety shoes

Composite material with reinforcing fibres has a central layer (1) made up of several thermoplastic resin layers (4a) reinforced by a woven material or cloth with interleaved unidirectional reinforcing fibres (5a) and by surface layers (3) made up of thermoplastic resin reinforced by random reinforcing fibres. Both layers are connected by a single support on opposite sides of the central layer (1). The softening or yield point of the central layer is lower than that of the outer layer. The protecting shell for the toes is formed by casting of the material using heat and pressure to standard JIS T8101 for security shoes.
