<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a rubber and plastic power cable connecting part with excellent electric insulating characteristics by forming a premolded rubber insulator out of a plurality of sections divided in the circumferential direction. SOLUTION: A premolded rubber insulator 3 is divided into two sections in the circumferential direction, and in an inner layer premolded rubber insulator 3A, a semi-conductive rubber internal electrode 32 is formed integrally at the inner periphery part of its insulating rubber part 31A and a semi-conductive rubber outer semi-conductive layer 33 is formed integrally respectively on both sides of the insulating rubber part 31A. In an outer layer premolded rubber insulator 3B, a semi-conductive rubber outer semi-conductive layer 33B is formed integrally at the outer periphery part of its insulating rubber part 31B. The inner layer premolded rubber insulator 3A is fitted at the outside of a conductive connecting part 2, brought into contact with the outer surface of a cable insulating core 1. The outer layer premolded rubber insulator 3B is fitted tightly on the outer periphery of the inner layer premolded rubber insulator 3A to form an insulating part of the connecting part. As a result, it is possible to reduce the volume of rubber at the time of forming and attain a connecting part with excellent electric insulating characteristics.</p> |
