<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a plastic pipe laid in the underground to a gas meter arranged on the ground easily by providing with a metal bellows pipe connected to one end side of a joint and a plastic pipe connected to the other end side, and carrying out piping by covering the outer surface of the plastic pipe part erected on the ground with a protecting pipe. SOLUTION: A riser pipe 10 is formed by connecting a plastic pipe 30 and a metal bellows pipe 40 to each other on the lower and upper parts of a joint 20, the plastic pipe 30 is erected on the ground, and metal bellows pipe 40 is connected to a gas meter. The metal bellows pipe 40 is covered with a resin film 41 on an outer surface, an 0-ring 42 and rubber 44 containing heat expansion graphite are mounted on the recessed groove of the connecting side end part of the joint 20, a metal half retainer 45 is mounted on the recessed groove, and connected to the inner surface of the upper side end part of the joint 20. A protecting pipe 50 is connected to the female screw 27 of the joint 20, the outer surface of a part erected on the ground of the plastic pipe 30 is covered so as to protect the plastic pipe 30 from heat such as ultraviolet and fire.</p> |
