<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a measuring apparatus by which an air flow rate can be detected with high accuracy by a method wherein a magnet which is arranged and installed at the inside of installed inside an intake air passage and the flow of the air is shaped. SOLUTION: The air which inhaled owing to the rotation of an engine is passed through a main pass 2 and a bypass 3 so as to enter the engine. In order to measure an air flow rate by using a heating resistor 3 and a thermosensitive resistor 4 which are installed in the bypass 3, a current value which supplements the heat quantity, of the resistor 4, which is robbed due to the disturbance of the air is measured as the air flow rate. At this time, its accuracy is influenced by the disturbance of the air due to the speed of rotation of the engine and by the pulsation of the engine. By making used of a fact that oxygen is paramagnetic so as to be attracted by a magnetic field, magnets 7 are installed on the engine side of a body 1, and the flow of the air is rectified. Thereby, the intake air flow rate of an internal-combustion engine can be detected precisely.</p> |
