The blank for a flexible packaging box (2) has an articulated cover (3) on the rear face (13). The blank has a rectangular shape and has two longitudinal fold lines (5a,b) at two opposed sides (6a,b) of the blank. The fold l9nes separate the blank in a middle zone (9) and two side zones (10a,b). It has four transverse fold lines (7a-d) separating the middle zone (9) and five rectangular panels forming the front (11), base (12) and rear (13) panels and the top (14) of the cover and the front face (15) of the cover. The two side zones have a width (1) slightly less than the height (H) of the finished container and superior to half of the finished height (H).
