PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic catalogue device which makes even a consumer who is unfamiliar with computer operation have a less feeling of physical disorder in purchasing an article. SOLUTION: On a genre selection screen, the consumer selects the genre that a desired article belongs to (S1). An effect sound corresponding to the genre is generated (S2). Then when a desired item is selected on an item selection screen (S4), an effect sound matching the item is generated (S5). Consequently, even the consumer which is unfamiliar with computer operation can be familiar with an article purchase through the electronic catalogue device. |
