A crank is used to set the brakes in the correction position when the trailer is coupled to the vehicle, assisted by a fitting that converts crank rotational force into transversal motion of the brakes. A yoke (1) has a vertical part and at least two horizontal parts (3,7), one of which has a spherical body at one end for coupling with the trailer during the fitting of the brakes. The other horizontal part (7) is screwed onto a crank-type brake adjustment mechanism (2,4). Crank rotational force is converted into transversal motion of the brakes in order to correctly set the position of the brakes when the trailer is coupled to the vehicle pulling it. |
