PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the transmitter to connect with both a computer network and a telephone network with affinity by connecting directly a hub/router to the computer network and providing a TCP/IP means between the hub/router and an exchange station equipment. SOLUTION: In the case of connection by telephone terminals T1, T2 or an ISDN terminal equipment 82 to a telephone network 99, a personal computer 84 accepts a call to control a hub/router 83 to connect the call to an exchange device 8 via an I/F 87 and multiplex communication channels 94, 95. The exchange 8 connects to a network 99 by using a subscriber share module 9 and an exchange 10. In the case of connection by the telephone terminals T1, T2 or the ISDN terminal equipment 82 to a telephone network 98, the personal computer 84 accepts a call to control the hub/router 83 to connect the call to the network 98. Voice information from the network 99 reaches a remote multiplex transmitter 1 or 2 via the exchange 10 and the module 9. The information is received by a pre-processing unit 85, in which the information is processed into a packet and an address on the network 98 is retrieved based on its telephone number. Furthermore, the processing unit 85 provides an address to the packet. |
