Prepn.of pumala vaccine comprises a)extracting the brain of SPF sirian hamster inoculated with Pouumala virus b) purifing with the obtd.virus with 20% PBS c)precipitating with a centrifugal separator having 9,000 rpm at 4 deg. C for 30 min d)separating pure virus from supernatant with 0.01-0.03 mg/ml protamine sulfate e)inactivating the virus by adding 0.01 formalin for 4 deg. C for two weeks f)treated with adjuvant at 4 deg. C for 15 days. This vaccine is useful for the preventive vaccine of nephrotic syndrome hemorrhogic fever.
