PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an immunity diagnostic drug that has high sensitivity and reduces nonspecific reactions by efficiently and stably fixing an antibody or an antigen to an insoluble carrier. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an immunity diagnostic drug causes a polyhydric alcohol to coexist with an insoluble carrier or an antibody or an antigen, before or while the insoluble carrier for use in the immunity diagnostic drug is made to carry an antibody or an antigen which correspond respectively to the antigen or antibody to be measured. The insoluble carrier is preferably latex particles, the polyhydric alcohol is preferably glycerin and/or ethylene glycol, and examples of the antibody are an antihumanα-fetoprotein antibody and an antihuman immunoglobulin E antibody.
