A folding, collapsible paper cup is made by folding and sealing a rectangular paper board 1 into shape, the paper board consisting of two symmetrical side panels 11,12 adapted to form the periphery of the cup, a base panel 13 adapted to form the bottom of the paper cup extending across the width of the board and lying between the side panels, folding lines along the length 14,15 and the width 131,134,135 of the board and curved folding lines 132,133 on the base panel, the curved lines being suitable for permitting the paper board to be folded into shape, the board further consisting of areas of adhesive at 16 within the side panels and at 18 within the base panel. Preferably the curved lines follow a smooth arch and define a right angle at each end. The cup may be filled with an instant food compound and sealed with a sealing strip. When assembled, the cup may be collapsed and stored flat.
