PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect severance of a wire in a trailer side lamp by providing a wire severance detecting circuit through a trailer side circuit and the second relay for interlocking the output circuit of the wire severance detecting circuit with the tractor side circuit. SOLUTION: This device is wired from a power source B to a flasher unit 2 through a tractor side fuse 1 and is wired from the flasher unit 2 to a tractor side lamp 3 through the second relay 8. On a trailer side, this device is branch- wired from between the power source B and the tractor fuse 1 through a trailer side fuse 5, and is wired to the first relay 4 through a wire severance detecting circuit 7. If a trailer side lamp has wire severance, the wire severance detecting circuit 7 detects it to generate output current from an output-terminal 7-OP, and the second relay 8 is operated by output current to open the circuit between the flasher unit 2 and the tractor side lamp 3. It is thus possible for a driver to recognize wire severance if the trailer side lamp has wire severance. |
