PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization of electronic equipment and high-density packaging while designing the equipment so that the pressed surface of a push button at an operating end has a sufficient area to be pushed by a fingertip. SOLUTION: A pushbutton switch device includes a push button 1a having a conductive surface 1b at its lower end, an elastic skirt part 1d formed on the side of the push button 1a, and a key top member 1 having a plate-shaped base 10 formed to continue to the skirt part 1d. An outer member 2 having a through hole 2a through which the head operating end 1c of the push button is passed is placed on top of the key top member 1. A base member 3 having a conducting part 3a at its position where it abuts to the conductive surface at the lower end of the push button is placed beneath the key top member 1. The plate-shaped base is sandwiched between the outer member and the base member and held in position above the conducting part. The key top member 1 has a plurality of abutting parts 11, 12, 13 formed to continue to the plateshaped base 10, which abut to planes of different heights. |
