PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a wide transmission band with a low consumption power and miniaturize a device by setting turns of fixed side windings larger than that of rotary side windings at a reproduction signal transmission channel of a rotary transformer. SOLUTION: A weak signal reproduced from a magnetic tape by a reproducing head 103 is amplified at a reproduction amplifier 104, and then transmitted to a reproduction amplifier 105a at the fixed side of a rotary cylinder via a reproduction signal channel of a rotary transformer 113. The turns of windings at the fixed side of the rotary transformer are set larger than that of windings at the rotary side. Changing a turns ratio of the transformer 113 makes a transmission band of low frequencies wide without changing a transmission band of high frequencies, and moreover reduces a consumption current while ensuring the same transmission band.
