SOLUTION: At the time of initial registering when presence or absence of the transmitting function in the facsimile equipment 8 is not discriminated in the start processing and the initializing processing of a status monitor, a setting column used at the time of transmitting data from the facsimile equipment 8 to the information processor S is not displayed in a display 6. Then, after it is discrimintaed that the facsimile equipment is provided with the transmitting function, an automatic status monitor start setting column and an automatic reception data printing setting column are displayed in the display 6 in the initializing processing.
