PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide detailed and exact guidance information by performing access to distributedly arranged service servers, acquiring service guidance information and imparting it to a user. SOLUTION: The guidance information concerning respective services to be provided through a network is respectively held at the service servers which exist on this network and provide this service, and a list composed of the summary of information for identifying the service servers and guidance information held by the respective servers is held at a guidance server. When the guidance server receives the request of guidance information concerning these services from the user (step 1), the list is referred to (step 2). Then, the service server for providing the service corresponding to the request of this guidance information is accessed (step 3), the detailed service guidance information concerning the relevant service is possessed from the service server (step 4) and the detailed service guidance information is provided for the user (step 5). |
