PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a millimeter-wave imaging radar by which an image is obtained in a shape close to an object to be measured by arranging a plurality of transmitting devices around the object to be measured at equal angle intervals and forming transmitted radio waves as radio waves having a wide-band continuous spectrum. SOLUTION: For example, a first transmitting device 5a to a fourth transmitting device 5d are arranged around an object 1 to be measured at equal angle intervals so as to surround the object to be measured from for sides. When the transmitting devices in a plurality are arranged equally around the object to be measured, the generation of a flint due to the positional relationship of one transmitting device can be suppressed in such a way that reflected waves from the transmitting devices in the plurality are averaged so as to be changed into an image, and the image can be obtained in a shape which is close to the shape of the object to be measured. In addition, transmitted waves from the transmitting devices 5a to 5d are formed as radio waves which are in a millimeter wave hand, which have a wide band of 1GHz or higher and whose band is continuous. Thereby it is possible to suppress the generation of the glint due to a single frequency, and the image can be obtained in the shape which is close to the shape of the object to be measured. In addition, it is desirable that the antenna beam of every transmitting device is set at a wide angle.
|
