PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor control apparatus for momentarily stopping a stepping motor without generation of heat. SOLUTION: This apparatus controls a stepping motor for driving and stopping operation thereof by supplying a drive pulse generated by a pulse generating means and a stop signal generated by a stop signal generating means to the stepping motor. In this case, a control means is structured to simultaneously drop each phase coil 57, 58, 59, 60 of the stepping motor to the reference potential or simultaneously terminate such coil. |
