PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible precisely forming a uniform polarization inversion structure by forming an electrode shape considering expansion (Wmin) of polarization inversion. SOLUTION: The shape of the electrode 20 is made smaller than the shape of a target polarization inversion layer 4 by a minimum valueΔWmin or above of a polarization inversion part 4 expanding in a peripheral part of a surface electrode on its outer periphery. That is, only when the polarization inversion is formed expanding to an electrode peripheral part byΔWmin or above, a uniform polarization inversion shape without a non-inversion area is formed, and an electric charge amount required for the polarization inversion without the non-inversion area is calculated. Then, the electric charge amount of the area of the expansionΔWmin of an inversion part to the electrode peripheral part is added excessively. That is, the electric charge amount of the area much or above multiplying the outer periphery L of the electrode byΔWmin is required excessively. Thus, the electric charge amount Q required for forming the uniform polarization inversion becomes a value adding the expansion (L.ΔWmin) to the electrode peripheral part to an electrode area (A) or above, and it is imparted by a form of Q>2Ps(A+L.ΔWmin).
