PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the personal position pinpointing system in which a person carries a light weight portable terminal and the personal position is quickly retrieved externally for the purpose of countermeasure of wandering about of a senile dementia and relief of an old person living alone and unhealthy. SOLUTION: The position pinpointing system has a movable terminal 5 having a transmitter and a receiver and sending a specific identification signal and a plurality of radio connection devices (relay stations) 141 located distributingly making radio connection to a mobile terminal within a prescribed communication range, stores zone position information of a mobile terminal when the mobile terminal enters a communication range of a radio connection device so as to roughly make positioning of the mobile terminal based on the information. Then a reception wave fine positioning measurement means 9 is applied only to a zone selected based on the rough position measurement to apply fine-positioning measurement to a position of a movable terminal by using time series information of a zone position and information such as a channel and time slot used by the terminal. |
