<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a probing method in which an underground structure in a wide area is probed quickly. SOLUTION: A transmitter 11 is installed on the surface of the ground, and electrodes 8, 9 are connected via a transmission line. The electrodes 8, 9 are buried partly in the ground. A helicopter 1 on which a receiving device such as an electromagnetic sensor 7 or the like is carried is flying in the sky. In this state, a large current is made to flow to the electrodes 8, 9 from the transmitter 11 on the surface of the ground via the transmission line, and powerful electromagnetic waves are generated. The electromagnetic waves generate an induction electromagnetic field by the earth's crust or the like. Then, the induction electromagnetic field is observed by the receiving device which is carried on the helicopter 1.</p> |
