<p>A preferred fluid filter assembly (10) includes a container having a first end member (26), a second end member (20) opposite the first end member, at least one centrally disposed first passageway (28), at least one second passageway (34) generally parallel to the first passageway and a plurality of radially extending channel ribs (40) connected to at least the second end member between the first and second passageways. In another embodiment, the fluid filter assembly includes a conical flange supporting a tubular member that defines at least a portion of a first passageway. A method of channeling fluid flow in a fluid filter assembly employs the radially extending channel ribs to direct fluid flow between the first and second passageways.</p> |
