A coating composition contains (A) 20-80 wt.% acetoacetate group-containing unsaturated polyester with acetoacetyl functionality of 2-7 obtained by reaction of (i) saturated and/or unsaturated dicarboxylic acids; (ii) polyalcohols; (iii) acetoacetate esters; and (iv) epoxides; (B) 10-20 wt.% acetoacetate group-containing polyalcohol as reactive diluent; (C) 20-60 wt.% hardener comprising (i) an epoxide-amine adduct; and/or (ii) a polyfunctional amine; or (iii) components (i) or (ii) in the form of the corresponding ald-or ket-imine; (D) 0-50 wt.% radically- or ionically- polymerisable compound; (E) 0.1-10 wt.% (based on weight of (D)) photoinitiator(s); and (F) 0-10 wt.% conventional aids used in lacquers and optionally also organic solvent and/or water, pigments and fillers.
