<p>The basis of the building system lies in the originality of the supporting vertical elements that consist of 4 struts (3) of 9 x 9 cm in cross section spaced by the thickness of a planed beam, i.e. 7 cm. This arrangement enables a quick and easy fixing of the horizontal and oblique elements of the floor and the roof structures at any point on the column. The oblique elements can be at any vertical angle between 0 and 180 degrees. These supporting vertical elements, depending on their length, can absorb the natural slope of the ground without any need for costly earthwork. Thus structure is covered with insulating sandwich panels (12) forming the interior wall of the building and acting as support for the facing that can be made of light material, either metal or wood or asbestos cement. The same goes for the roof (14) whose sandwich constructions constituting it can be covered with tiles, natural or artificial slate, corrugated sheets, thatch, etc.... The building system is highly flexible and allows for architectural creativity both in volume and interior arrangement. The erected building can be modified, enlarged or dismantled.</p> |
