The present invention relates to a temperature control method for a dish washer. According to this method, a fan and a heater are driven for an initial drying period of time to evaporate the moisture of dishes, and the fan is continuously operated while only the heater is turned off so that the temperature in the dish washer drops to a given point at which a user does not get burnt. When the temperature in the dish washer drops to the given point, a display lamp is turned on and an alarm is generated.
