Disclosed is a cross interleave method and the circuit. The cross interleave method includes a P-encoding address generation step which generates a P encoding address delayed by a predetermined delay between an output and the P encoding address according to a cross interleave rule about each channel by using the output data output from an encoding system as a reference, Q encoding address generation step which generates a Q encoding address delayed by a predetermined delay between the P encoding address and the Q encoding address according to the cross interleave rule about the address generated at the P encoding address generation step, and an input data address generation step which generates an input data address delayed by 2 about a frame of the output signal on the address of the input data by a predetermined delay between the input data and the Q encoding address according to the cross interleave rule in the address generated at the Q encoding address generation step. Thus, the memory capacity is decreased.
