<p>A ligand dependent co-activator for the human androgen receptor has been identified. The co-activator, named here ARA70, potentiates interaction between androgens and the receptor. The co-activator is useful as a tool in monitoring the androgenic/antiandrogenic effects of possible pharmaceuticals as well as environmental samples. The cDNA for co-activator has been cloned and sequenced.</p> |
